Why are you "embarrassed" with people saying what they would like to see added to the team they love? EVERYTHING out there is speculation. Let fans have fun with it.

Jarome Iginla / Cory Sarich / Leland Irving / 2014 3rd for Jonathan Bernier / Tyler Toffoli / Derek Fobort / 203 1st.
GO BIG OR GO HOME.
Anyone who says this is unrealistic stopped being a Penguins fan as of two hours ago.

Nah, when he got here he talked about how boston had him on their list and they were looking forward to drafting him.
I see nothing special in Gaudreau. He was drafted exactly where he belonged. If Flames can get a better prospect - i.e. a first round pick, a big centre or goalie, then they should do it.
Imo it will be at least three years before Gaudreau makes the nhl. A lot can happen in that time. My pref would be for a prospect that can make the jump next year to he pros at a min.

Two things:
- The wait is getting on my nerves and destroying my already poor productivity. Somebody please make a crazy offer for Iggy and get it done.
- I expect to disappointed on the returns. I just have so little faith in Feaster and this organization right now that it's just sad.

There is intelligent speculation. And then there is that. Calgary fans are supposed to be smart. Proposals involving Seguin are just silly.
I would love to have him as well. But it won't happen.

I'm buying tickets to see the Penguins in town on the (very) off chance that he still gets traded there.
I'm actually kind of sad that he might be leaving. Every other time these rumours have come up, I've brushed it aside as rumours with no substance. But now it feels like it's really happening. I'm certain it's the best for all parties involved, but I'll still be sad if he's traded.

Because kehatch is the smartest person here. He is winning all the sports and just broke up with Heather Graham s take it easy on him.

There is more value in keeping a guy with as much skill as Gaudreau than there is in trading him now. Any player who draws comparisons to Datsyuk from multiple scouts is worth keeping.

I'd like to see Iggy moved out to Pittsburg for Sidney Crosby. With the addition of Morrow today, I feel the Penguins would be more open to that idea now.

Any player who draws comparisons to Bilbo Baggins is worth moving if you get the offer of a legitimate top-9 NHL forward.

I agree with the first part, I already have trouble focusing and now I sit and think of this!?!? WHY!!!
But I do think the return will be good, management knows this is the end of an era and we need to get off to a good start on the next one..

I'd add this trade is not assured. If the Flames are deadset on a certain package and they don't get it, they might not do it. I think ownership would fear the backlash of a trade that is mediocre.

If prospects of Gaudreau's potential are untouchable, then most of the prospects Flames fans are expecting to come back in an Iginla deal are untouchable.

Trade a potential superstar for a legit third liner. You are so smart. Glad you are not GM.
