Feaster would probably prefer 5th round picks because that's where all of their internally ranked prospects are.

At no point was Spooner an overage player.

He's a 21 year old center who's almost a point per game in the AHL, so his last WHL year is irrelevant.

Who has 45 points this year in the AHL and has already spent time on Boston's top line. This kid has talent, and for a team that deep with centers to play him the way they have talks a lot about his potential.
Edit: switch potential and talent, but you get the point
He is exactly what the Flames need at that position; fast, creative, puck posession, offensive minded center.

Iggy = Consolation?
I know in every contest in this frickin' world, the biggest prize is drawn at the very end.
If it means Feaster is being smart (hope he does...), Iggy is the biggest prize of this trade deadline. And we are not even within a week before it ends...

Because most teams are not going to give up a 6'2" franchise center prospect.

If that's true then Boston must have been offering something comparable if Morrow had the decision to go either place. That makes me excited.

He is a center that is putting up close to a ppg in the AHL and playing solid if not great defense. I am sure we would all take Seguin and Hamilton but might realize that realism comes into play for guys were ate going to trade for.

Pit's get Morrow its only a matter of 24hrs before the Bruins pull the trigger on Iginla tonight will be Iginla's last game if he even makes it out of warm ups I'll be shocked.
1st, Subban and a Centerman with a high up side, Get is done Feaster.
Pit's did a nice job getting Morrow the guy has some gritt to his game and can do alot of the small things that help you close out games.

All the Flames 2012 draft picks in rounds 1-7 were rated in the top 66 CSB Final Rankings.

Unbelievable. If that's the return for Brenden Morrow, I'm through the roof excited about what we could get for Iggy.

LOL
If Morrow got Morrow, 1st and another pick I want:
Boston - Khokhlachev, Spooner, Krug, 1st
LA - Toffoli, Bernier, Forbort, 1st
CHI - Terravainen, Pirri, McNiel, Olsen, 1st
...for Iggy.
Haha

No way that's accurate. Remember what the original tweets were about what Regehr was bringing back? I would think this is the same.
