George Johnson ‏@GeorgejohnsonCH 1m The fact that two potential Iginla destinations, Pitt and Bos, are after Morrow would further indicate Cal out of whack with demands.

Good news if this increases the price of Iggy horrible if it makes Feaster price him outbid the market and teams go with the second options.
The bolded part is what i am scared of. Iggy's list, if true, is not that long. You don't want it to go down to one team on the list.

haha, our price being too high and the other teams just saying "screw it" would be fitting.

Or maybe it's cheaper to get a3rd line grinder like morrow compared to what a star 1st line right wing is commanding on the trade market.

They already have Kane and Hossa. Unless they want Iginla to shift to LW or play the 3rd line.

I dont think about of those 2 or Iginla have an issue playing any wing side.

Sounds effin amazing for a late season drive and a long playoff run.

This isn't the start of training camp, teams are loading up as the playoffs approach.

Yup - I'm hoping Morrow chooses Boston and Pitt comes back with an Iggy offer.

If Pitts and Boston are after Morrow I think whoever loses out on that one will be a lot more likely to pony up for Iggy.

Even if we're asking a lot Morrow could force the team who doesn't land him to increase what they're willing to give up for Iggy.

Could be a good thing.

I know you hate him but there is zero chance he is a consolation prize to Brendan F'ing Morrow.

zero chance Iginla is a consolation for Morrow, he's clearly lost a step, he's a great asset to have but don't be silly

also, one team picking up Morrow means they are all but out on Iginla (this can mean many things, anyone assuming price to high is just guessing at this point) but it does lower the market, which isn't the best thing
