Three of the first 20 of the upcoming draft. Davidson will have this team in the playoffs in two years and a cup contender in five years. I don't even want to think about where the Flames will be in five years.

A friend of mine is related to John.

Now that he has Bobrovsky and Johnson, they can start looking at forwards. Prospal was a good filler player for the transition years. Foligno was a slick pickup as well.

I'm talking about the team as a whole. Not enough guys doing absolutely everything they can to help the team. Too many passengers on many nights, too many players not finishing their checks, too many guys not helping the defense out.

I understand that terrible turnovers can lead to 3 goals in just over a minute, but a lack of heart or care also can lead to a team just not caring enough or bearing down on simple plays.

Howson got a lot of flack but he set them up big time in this draft. I'm glad as Columbus has got the shaft with all these bad teams and the fans deserve a team they can be proud of. I'm pretty confident JD can deliver that.
