Hudler is quickly playing his way into my bad books. Too invisible too often.

I, for one, am relieved. It's time. The suffering and denial have gone on for too long and I believe after this loss management will have no choice but to make the changes they have been so reluctant in making over the last several years.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm still disappointed. But frustration at his point is futile. To me frustration signals a desire for a different outcome. And while we all hoped that outcome would have been this team going on a magical run, It more likely would have been once again coming up just short with nothing to show for it. That's the last thing this team needs.

So while I'm not happy they didn't win, I certainly am relieved. Not because I don't like this team, but because I hope once and for all we can accept they the team he way I is just isn't going to win and it's time to move on.

It's time.

Books, plural, because with you no way in hell is one book going to be enough.

Yes, and as I feared and predicted, Hartley is just an awful coach. Look at the defensemen he has to work with compared to a lot of the teams that are ahead of the Flames for goals against (Blue Jackets, Stars, Oilers).

They should not be THIS bad.

I never wanted the Flames to be sellers the last couple years or even this year until recently. Now my biggest worry is that they won't be.

Bob's uptempo system has been awesome to behold. If I didn't know any better I'd swear these guys have quit on another coach. Oh well, last overall is within reach, and I think this team is awful enough to close the deal.

But do they really?

They have a few nice pieces, not "so many."

Giordano (sometimes), Brodie (most of the time), Iginla (????sometimes, and for how much longer/), Glencross (when he feels like it).

Who else is a really nice piece?

Obviously the fault of Brent Sutter - team is still working out of his bad habits, and it shows.

Next year, they should be rid of Sutter's horrible coaching, and will be running away with the conference.

I mean, it was obviously Sutter's fault this team sucked ass for the past 3 years.

true, if you can't get motivated to play this style then you don't belong in the NHL

Well, if they aren't going to make the playoffs might as well lose a lot so everybody wants out.

Iginla, Comeau and Giordano looked good, hopefully there were some scouts in the audience.
