I guess the part I bolded carries more weight with some than others.

What that gives you is an estimated 3M in networth (not nothing but compared to other "athletes" - chump change. I guess I watched to many 30 for 30's "Broke" episode too many times to think that 3M is alot of money for celebrities.

Especially those that have a very small window of capitalization of about 2 years after her last Olympics which is likely 2018 (thats assuming she can medal in 2014 after what sounds like a pretty severe knee injury).

How do you think corporate acquisitions work? You don't just bang the most athletes under contract at your competitor and then take over the company. It would be interesting if that were the case, but it certainly is not.

No, I think companies plan acquisitions many years in advance and getting Nike's 2nd most valued asset (at one time at least) to start the ground work of a massive marketing campaign with UA's most prominently marketed female athlete could be one of the ways they plan on have market the single combined entitiy.

I love this entire premise. It gets even better when you apply it to things like the Delta/Northwest merger, which for some reason does not allow me to picture anything but an obese Minnesotan and an obese Texan in plane form.

I think that once you've had several threesomes with girls whose names you don't even know, it's natural to wish for a loving relationship with someone who genuinely cares about you. Of course, once you're going to sleep beside the same girl for the thousandth time, it's natural to wish for the good old days of anonymous stripper sex. Basically, by getting a taste of that life, Tiger's chances of happiness are shot.

Tiger deserves a second chance at love, I just hope he's learned from his past mistakes. Dating a fellow world-class athlete could be the right situation for him though as one would think they'd have a little more in common than Tiger did with a Swedish nanny.

I've had wild 3somes and crazy fun times. Still looking for Mrs. Right though and if she's not into anything like that so be it. Some people can separate their crazy fun activities from the things that truly make them happy.
