You know that being unique isn't necessarily good, right?
The reason that no other teams use the Flames' template is because it is a god awful design.

If I had the last call this would be it:
The Rebook Cut Retro Home and Aways as our main jerseys, with the black horsehead jersey as our alternate with a Yellow/White C instead of the Horsehead. A Red C would be alright but also may be too dark.
The retro home/away perfectly represent the Flames. It's uniquely ours. In my opinion going retro is the ONE AND ONLY thing the Oilers have done right lately.
Just because the retros happened to have been worn 25 years ago doesn't make them less awesome today. I feel that the retro patterns suit hockey jerseys better than our current home/aways.

That's a fact? Is it on wikipedia that you could link to it or something?
If they are so gawd awful, why are there so many sold year after year after year?
The Rangers have a unique jersey which is rarely copied. Does that make it gawd awful?
And you seem to have failed comprehending the response my post was to, but since you made a design (which I find a poor attempt) your word is the final say on the matter? Good to know who's in charge around here

Dude, where did I say the use of black and red was unique? Go back and re-read and try to comprehend not just hate for the sake of someone having a differing opinion that everything 80's isn't awesome and glamorous. Perhaps you should take a bit of your own advice....

Why do you continue to do this? There are facts and there are opinions. For some reason you keep trying to paint what are clearly expressions of opinion as expressions of fact, and you're being a d-bag about it.
And the Rangers design is frequently copied, just not in the NHL.

To your first point, wikipedia doesn't keep track of how good or bad jerseys are. Icethetics and bleacher report do. Go back and look at my post regarding this. What a silly comment.
On your second point, blatantly copying the Rangers would be a bit tacky. However the original Jets jersey was a blatant copy of the Rangers. Also, many teams use the rangers colour scheme because it's pretty awesome.
I don't think Zarley is in charge around here, but he's a lot more qualified to be than you.

I was hoping they would go full home and away retro. This is quite disappointing.

The only d-bags are those who continue to ram their opinion down the throats of those who disagree as if it's a proven fact. That's why VERY few have posted in favour of the retros being hung up (and a few haven't posted but thanked such posts) while a number continue to make statements of fact which is only their opinion and tell others to shut the hell up and go away if they disagree. Call me a d-bag if you like but there's 5:1 on the pro-retro side posting in this thread.

Where are these statements of fact? People are expressing opinions, not facts. There is a difference.
You're actually the only person I see making statements of fact that aren't actually true, and when called on it you pretend you didn't say it.
You don't like the retros, that's great, now stop being a jerk about it.

You just made a statement that one website keeps FACTS about how pretty or ugly hockey jerseys are. Thanks for proving my point!
Then you further prove you've still not even bothered to read and comprehend my previous post nor my rebutle to yours. You just keep spouting off your opinion matters more than someone else's without even knowing what points you are even arguing. It's really becoming comical.

Ha. So it's an issue of not knowing the difference between a fact and an opinion. Good lord.

Two websites actually. Sorry that wikipedia doesn't keep track of opinions for you. However the two websites I pointed out do.
I did read your rebuttal. I said that the Flames jersey was the same as 20% of the league because they were black and red and you said no they aren't. I went on to prove it to you by showing you pictures and now you're having a fit. Good job.

Talked to my friend inn the FanAttic and sales are 5:1 edge to Retro.
As for black being a tacky gimmick of the 90's, retro is a tacky and most time gawd awful ugly gimmick of the 00's.

You want hard numbers for which jersey is better? There's your evidence right there that the retros are more popular than the current home jerseys. Go back and read your own post.

VERY happy the end or limited use of the Flames retros is coming. And black is here to stay. Forever. Deal with it.

Do you have any idea how stupid you just made yourself out to be? Never mind that you posted about 2 sites keeping FACTS about something that is subjective , then looking confused as to why there's a big splatter of cow dung on your face when I say you can't help but continue to fail so you post this little gem?
Please, can someone else explain this to Q here? Anyone? It's not rocket science, it's like grade 3 math.

Well if it's grade 3 math, I'm thinking go hard. You should be able to force your point through if it is that simple.
