Yea it sucks I was agreeing with you. He actually looked like he had turned the corner when he came to Nsh he was actually responsible defensively (relatively) and seemed like he had matured alot. It was funny because I remember thinking how Andrei used to be the more responsible one and Sergei the brat and how they flipped roles. It really made me marvel at how good a coach Trotz was to turn Sergei around. Then boom, back to his old crap again lol.

I play on a team of fat nobodies in a leauge of Pylons and even we would tear a guy up for doing that. Let alone a professional who gets paid millions. Unreal.

If I was a player on the Nashville bench I probably would have popped him in the face for that. That goal cost Nashville the game.

I would be surprised to see him in any NHL uniform next year.

Are the Preds that lacking in skilled offensive players that guys are getting a pass on this? Looking at the roster I guess you could make a case as it's starting to look like with the loss of Suter that the team just doesn't have a good enough forward group to tough out wins when they are behind.

Sounds like he's saying Kostitsyn wasn't being lazy - he's just really really dumb.

You know what the worst part of that was? Watch it again, and listen to the Oilers broadcasters. They show the full play and then a lengthy replay, and not once do those idiots even notice or mention anything about Kostitsyn.

They just blindly go throuhgh the play only noticing what the Oilers are doing and praising their amazing PK skills, not once noticing that a NAshville player literally stops in the middle of a two on two and goes to the bench which is the only reason they scored, and a decision that will be talked about ad nauseum by hockey media this week.

Like how did they not pick up on that?

I might not like the make up of the flames, but at least they don't have a player like that on the team.

This would a be great year for them to tank.

Colin Wilson, Shea Weber, Pekka Rinne, Roman Josi, Ryan Ellis with Monahan or Lindholm would be a pretty nice core. Their impact players are all still young despite looking like they are having a down year they have the potential to bounce back much much quicker than the Flames off of a high draft pick.

We did, but we traded him to Montreal last year.

Yeah I still can't believe that. They must be as bad at recognizing what's happening on the ice as Kostitsyn.

I just love watching the coaches in the that clip.

They start waiving. Then pointing. Then jumping and waiving and pointing.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall...

Sam Gagner gave up on a play against the Hawks last week, kinda similar. Hossa was beating him and he took a penalty, he totally stopped skating just to whine and complain to the ref. He completely stopped skating resulting in Hossa beating him and going in for a goal.

Start watching at 2:40 mark for how he totally gives up on the play.

Honestly, think this play is just as bad as Kostitsyn

They only dressed 11 forwards for the game. So I am guessing he didn't want to play down 2 guys upfront.
