What's your take on Paul Martin, is that guy a 5 million dollar defender?

Not now...probably was when they signed him. He was a UFA signing...right?

No acquisition cost always pushes salary up with UFAs.

Penguins with 9 straight wins now.. That's just sick in a 48 game schedule, also Ducks & Chicago, sick.

Which I totally understand - and will enjoy if (when) it happens.

However, I don't mind the Oilers and Nucks helping us out on occasion. It's a win either way, as far as I am concerned.

Paul Martin was seen as a top pairing Dman (#2 perhaps) when he was signed. Looks like he's back to his old self after a couple of horrendous seasons?

It would be tough to go against Paul McLean as being coach of the year should the Sens make the playoffs. Lot's of coaches can make a case for the Adams thus far. The 3 Canadian teams in the North East all doing well thru the first 30 ish games.

Eberle with a partial breakaway and he basically skated past the net. He is really slumping right now (1 goal in 11 or something to that effect)

Definitley a hangover edition with skiing and St.Patrick's Day festivities.

The last minutes of the Sabres-Capitals game is on NBCSN and TSN, Washington leads 5-3.

Regulation win is good, keep the Oilers away from a top pick we will have to hear about all summer also good...those clowns up north aren't gonna make the playoffs anyway

NHL Network analysts are going to rip Kostitsyn for that terrible line change. It was nice goal into the top corner.

Too little too late, Josi scores to make 3-2 Oilers with nine seconds left.

I actually haven't been paying much attention since that post. But Hall played well in the first period and certainly played well last game.

Hall is easily the Oilers best player. He's having a great year.

Hall is getting a point per game and is playing his aggressive game. He's leading the team.
