so rather than show Spurs/Liverpool live on sunday

Sportsnet world is showing Man U/Chelsea in the FA Cup (understandable)
Sportsnet1 is showing baseball, Spain vs Venezuela
all 4 main Sportsnet channels are showing the blue jays exhibition game

ridiculous

showing it on tape delay at 1130 PST/1230 MST

Walker was 0/10 today

just absolutely gifted them 3 points, they were creating nothing after HT until that ridiculous backpass, would have been an easy win

Ridiculous indeed. Are they contractually obligated to show all of the world baseball classic games? If so why? Also, if so, why not just say "screw it" anyways? I gather most baseball fans don't care about that game, and most people of Spanish or Venezuelan descent are watching footy anyways.

Everton could put it up to city this weekend considering their cup exit but game of the weekend could be Villa/QPR.

QPR with a prime opportunity to jump off the bottom AND put themselves within striking range of 17th place. Gonna be a scrap from here on in.

Everton beat City, 2-0. City will have to fight for 2nd now, Spurs and Chelsea could close in on them.

Saints lose to Wigan and QPR, but beat Man City and go 2-0 up against Liverpool. Typical.

2-1. They're absolutely flying. Could well be four up instead on one.

Spurs catch a break. No Fellaini or Pienaar when they meet in a couple of weeks.

QPR hanging on.

Begs the question, what the hell are they doing? What kind of attitude did they have coming in to this game? They looked completely unprepared and unfocused.

That was grim.

Always good to see Liverpool and their horrible combo of Leafs/Canucks/Oilers fans lose.

Hopefully Spurs take advantage tomorrow but they seem to always lose these type if games.

You always seem to draw your line in the sand in some very strange places....

Thougt they got it tactically wrong by playing Suarez as a #10. We are much stronger when we have 3 in midfield. It helped when Coutinho and Suarez swapped positions. Then again, tactics won't do much when you mail in a performance like that.

Oh well, we have have been looking much better since adding Coutinho and Sturridge, hopefully this is just another speed bump.

Wouldn't be a first. Speaking of which ... Nuri Sahin scored a couple of goals for Dortmund today.

The 24-year-old, now on loan at Borussia Dortmund, told AS: "I did not fail at Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers wanted me to play as a number 10. But I do not play behind the strikers."I talked to him and asked him why he was playing me there. It is not my real position. The coach could not answer me … Still, no regrets. To play at Anfield was a wonderful experience. And maybe if I had not gone there I would not have been able to return to Borussia Dortmund. For that, I am happy. Thank God I have left Brendan Rodgers."

Doesnt surprise me at all. I thought picking up Sahin initially was brilliant, he was a bit of a moron for leaving Dortmund for a Real team he was never going to make in the first place.

But Rodgers mismanaged him abysmally. I was sad to lose him.
