so rather than show Spurs/Liverpool live on sunday
Sportsnet world is showing Man U/Chelsea in the FA Cup (understandable)
Sportsnet1 is showing baseball, Spain vs Venezuela
all 4 main Sportsnet channels are showing the blue jays exhibition game

ridiculous
showing it on tape delay at 1130 PST/1230 MST
Ridiculous indeed. Are they contractually obligated to show all of the world baseball classic games? If so why? Also, if so, why not just say "screw it" anyways? I gather most baseball fans don't care about that game, and most people of Spanish or Venezuelan descent are watching footy anyways.

Begs the question, what the hell are they doing? What kind of attitude did they have coming in to this game? They looked completely unprepared and unfocused.
That was grim.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Thougt they got it tactically wrong by playing Suarez as a #10. We are much stronger when we have 3 in midfield. It helped when Coutinho and Suarez swapped positions. Then again, tactics won't do much when you mail in a performance like that.
Oh well, we have have been looking much better since adding Coutinho and Sturridge, hopefully this is just another speed bump.

Wouldn't be a first. Speaking of which ... Nuri Sahin scored a couple of goals for Dortmund today.
Quote:
The 24-year-old, now on loan at Borussia Dortmund, told AS: "I did not fail at Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers wanted me to play as a number 10. But I do not play behind the strikers."I talked to him and asked him why he was playing me there. It is not my real position. The coach could not answer me … Still, no regrets. To play at Anfield was a wonderful experience. And maybe if I had not gone there I would not have been able to return to Borussia Dortmund. For that, I am happy. Thank God I have left Brendan Rodgers."
Doesnt surprise me at all. I thought picking up Sahin initially was brilliant, he was a bit of a moron for leaving Dortmund for a Real team he was never going to make in the first place.
But Rodgers mismanaged him abysmally. I was sad to lose him.
