Flames dig huge hole then claw their way back to contention, only to lose pivotal games at the end of the season to Pheonix to finish just out of the playoffs
Reminds of the movie "Ground Hog Day"
Oh well fun and exciting, and buys the management team some time to figure out what they are going to do with this team

Would love it if they kept "Red Solo Cup" as the new goal song. Much better than "Barbra Streisand" for pete's sake...

Nice to see them win. It's still all a freaking trap, but always nice to see a win.

McGrattan had a really good game. The guy can actually skate.

Have to admit he's been great for the last 5 games. One of the few players to show up for the Calli trip. Could be a while until we see Cervenka if Comeau keeps playing like this.

Man I have grown fond of Rob Kerr. Such an awkwardly awesome pbp guy.
Great game by the second and third lines. Fourth line also held their own. Gio with a good bounceback game.
Kiprusoff looked shaky with not the best rebound control and at times being unaware of where the puck is.

Had a soccer game tonight, so I had to PVR the game. I had my phone on, but didn't check any texts/tweets, but made the mistake of noticing a crap load of tweets on my lock screen. I assumed those were the many Canuck fans who follow me and like to troll me and we had lost.
Even when the Flames were up late, I was still worried those tweets were bad ones for me. I feared the epic collapse, especially after the 5-3 goal.
So happy to see the win. It's also so nice to have a relatively comfortable win. Having trouble finding many guys who had poor games. Solid 60 minute effort.

So good see Gio coming back to life, as opposed to Jordo.
Comeau is gaining confidence, so happy for him.
Stajan, Stempniak, Glencross....nuff said.
Cammy looks real good at center IMO, really killing it in the face off dot too.

Agreed. So many 'old west' puns tonight. It was awesome.
My favourite was when Iggy shot three times consecutively and Kerr said, "he's taking a scattergun approach!"
