Great game!!!! Thought it was one of the best games of the year by the flames. All 4 lines were good.

Thought they played really well tonight and considerably better than against Detroit. The lines really look to be clicking nicely. Kind of annoyed that it took so long for Hartley to move Cammalleri to the middle when he looked good there the last part of last season; surely he watched the games from last season during the lockout. Instead, he tried Tanguay, Hudler, Comeau there for like 20 games. Lots of talk about him winning draws which is important but more importantly he is really good and engaged in the defensive zone which was sorely lacking when the team played all those games with one actual center.
Hopefully Giordano gets some praise for tonight which was undoubtedly his best game of the season.
Stempniak is deadly streaking down the right side and Glencross is just plain deadly especially when he goes hard to the net. Whenever he thinks he's a big offensive talent, goes perimeter and soft. That's why it's a good fit being with Stempniak and Stajan rather than with Iginla.
Continue to love Backlund's defensive play. The team is a lot better in its own end when he is healthy and the team has two actual centers in the lineup.
I'm still not really sure what to make of this team though things are shaping up like they could be dominant at home and doormats on the road which simply isn't going to do it. They have themselves still in the mix but hanging by a thread. Need four points on three game road trip and it isn't nearly as tough of competition as they got in California.

I think the fans who are skeptical about the Flames having a chance are just afraid of getting their hearts broken again, understandingly so (see last 3 years)
I do think we have a chance based on how deep we are this year. We've scored 11 goals in the last 2 games without Iginla getting a single point which is crazy
