I've said it before and I'll say it again. USE THE ORIGINALS AS THE REGULARS AND THE RED FROM '04 AS AN ALTERNATE!
also as a side note. I always thought that if we put the red C on the horse head jersey that would have been one of the all time greatest jerseys

Although Zarley's concept is pretty sweet, these ones are my favorite. I would definitely buy one.

No you again made another BS comment. You continue to post your opinion as true fact. You won't ever buy 100 jerseys in your life but you stated that Ken King reads this board (for more than a good laugh) and he should take your opinion as to what new jerseys to make so that you will line up to purchase 100. But hey, keep telling me how everything you believe is fact and anyone who disagrees with you is wrong.
I own 11 of these, each crested and almost every one of them signed. They make up half of my Flames jersey collection. Would gladly buy another next season.

Ugh, if they really are thinking of switching to the rhetro's full time, I hope they at least change the orangey-red colour. It's such a Ronald McDonalds looking colour scheme with that, the yellow and the white. The deep red they have on their current jerseys is perfect IMO.

I clearly explained to you my thinking, I never said it as a matter of fact, just my opinion. I'm not really sure why you're hung on me saying I'd buy 100 of those retro's, again it's a joke. And no, I've heard from other posters and he does occasionally read these boards, so why not express my opinion on jerseys so that he knows what his fans might be looking for? I highly doubt it will sway his decision on a new jersey concept, but may as well put it out there. I never said you were wrong, just to back up your opinion instead of ranting about an obvious joke.
Yes those are nice, coloration is nice, however the piping and the sides of the jersey are really bad. I have no problem with someone having a differing opinion then my own, but you're clearly itchy for some attention.

When I hang my 2004 beside my retro, the fabric looks exactly the same colour.

That is absolutely correct. The red on the new jerseys looks darker because of the black beside it. The Flames has always used the same shade of red except the Heritage Classic jersey.

For sheer awfulness, someone needs to combine all the awful elements of various Flames' jerseys over the years.
Pedestal Jersey made black with the horsehead logo, with some silly vertical piping.

Just because I recently signed up (mainly to be able to put various users on ignore to avoid their drivel) does not mean I'm new to what CP is and what most posters here think it is. If you don't like my posts, then ignore me. Crying to mommy because you don't like the new kid doesn't make you special. Well not in anything but the Oilers Something Special kinda way.
