Default March 14, eleven games!

A busy Thursday in the league. All western conference games are game of the night material with the standings being so tight. I think in the east it would be the Rangers-Jets game being the best game as those two teams currently fight for eighth place.

Games that began at 1700h and are at the end of the first period.

Penguins-Leafs are scoreless and is on RDS in french.

The Hurricanes are up 2-0 over the Capitals in part two of this home-away series and is on NHL Network USA.

The Bruins lead the Panthers 2-0.

The Blackhawks-BJs are in a scoreless tie.

The lone game that began at 1730h
Islanders and Lightning are tied 0-0 midway through the first period.

Chicago and Columbus exchange goals late in the second period, it is 1-1. The Wild lead 1-0.

I agree it is very defensive out there. The Penguins win 3-1, YAY! The stinkin' Leafs lose again. Dupuis scores twice and then a shorthanded empty net goal by Adams.

The BJs keep their streak alive as they are tied 1-1 in the shootout.

Final scores have Boston over Florida, 4-1 and the Capitals comeback for a 3-2 regulation win over Carolina.

Nashville doesn't look very good in the early goings.

Rangers lose to the Jets 3-1. Big spending teams struggling in the East. Philadelphia, Rangers, Caps.

Come on panic mode! Get the trades started!

Schneider (doing a crossword): 'Hey Lou, what's a 6 letter word for not moving forward?'

'backup!'

Outstanding

Don't look now, but the Lea fs have lost 4 straight all of a sudden. 0-3-1

Please, please, please let that continue, and let the Habs start losing too.

Amazing how much better Crosby is than any other player in the NHL. 3 zones...balls out...with and without the puck.

Sigh.

O'Reilly with 5 points in his last 5 games, and has already taken 100+ draws, good on 52.8% of them.

I have a feeling watching his career is going to bring me plenty of sorrow at the fact that the Avs matched. (I believe he wouldn't have had to go through waivers, but let's not make this thread about that argument)
