8 in a row? You must not be paying attention. We're 6 points back of 3rd in the conference with a game in hand on a few teams in a season where every game is against conference opponents. Hardly an unachievable feat.

We are 6 point back with no games in hand, all we need is the Flames to win 3 in a row and the Canucks to lose three in a row and Minnesota to go 0-2-1 and we are in first place. Easily doable.

Was Glencross pouting in it? Probably not after tonight I guess though... they should interview him after a usual outing, one of those nights where when he glides back to the bench it takes him about 1-2 minutes.

It's true.......unlikely, but true.

Yeah that is unlikely. But that scenario is for the division lead and over 3 games. We have over 20 to just make the playoffs.

Leave him alone he makes the same as Brandon Prust. People are always expecting 4 million of play out of this guy I don't get it.

I hate looking ahead so much, but I can't help it. Next four games are against teams under the playoff bar with the Flames. If there's a good time to string together a streak, now would be it.

Damn, the Canucks play the Wild in the next three games, so it will have to be a 4 game stretch.

Flames go 3-0-1 over their next four

Canucks go 0-4-0

Wild go 1-3-0

Flames are in first place.

I guess this is why I still feel like I don't really care. In fact I'm pretty sure I care far more about reading this website, than I actually do about the Flames, in a weird sort of backwards ass way.
First world problems.

So over half their games are against non-playoff teams, and only 6 of the 23 against Chicago and the physically big teams in the Conference: Anaheim, LA, Vancouver, and Phoenix.

I'll take that.

Heavy on road games in which the team has struggled isn't it?

We all need to go back to pretending he's "Gio". The only way this can all go back to the way it was...
