There are simply no excuses for TSN as it is 2013 and not the 1990s. The lack of simple planning on doubleheader days should allot the first game for 2.75 to three hours in order to avoid pre-empting of the second game. Furthermore, planning and allowing the game to be shown from the beginning on NHL Network Canada without interruptions.

Here's what I don't get, why didn't they put the Flames game on a tape delay and shorten the intermission (ie just show commercials and avoid filler talk). I bet if they informed the viewers of that most would have waited for the delay. Seems like a reasonable compromise, no?
