Good luck with that. DRC is 10x the athlete Asomugha is and about 5 years younger.

That was the excuse in 2011. They switched schemes in 2012, especially after Bowles took over and he was even worse. He hasn't been complete trash, but he's an average CB at best now.

Second time today Miami spent there money so wisely. Ellerbe has 14 career starts in 4 years, has never played more than 13 games in a season.Guess what? Ellerbe is making $7 million a year with the new deal. Ozzie Newsome did the smart thing there and walked away.
Jared Cook signs with St.Louis and not Miami. GREAT pickup for them.
Chicago improves their offense live. Jermon Bushrod signs a five year deal.

My favorite part of free agency is watching players develop all kinds of negative traits as soon as they sign somewhere besides with your team.

Can someone tell me about the Titans signings. Don't know much about them, but some reports are saying Titans are winners so far in free agent signings.

I agree its an overpay, not as bad as the Wallace one but when you suck you have to overpay. Still for the Ravens they lose a key asset now, and they are built to win right now. They could theoritically lose a third of their starters from a Super Bowl team. So now its on Joe Flacco even more to lead them to being a contender.

Chris Canty has signed with the Ravens. Like the signing. Hopefully that ends the Terrence Cody project for good.

Wow, Percy signs for 6 years and $67 million which looks pretty good now against the Wallace deal. Makes about the same as Vincent Jackson which seems about right.

Thats very interesting. I'm not sure how much Heyward-Bey will get paid in FA, but I would like the Texans to take a look at him. He might look a little better with some decent QB play.

Philly signed James Casey for 3 years 14.5 mil. Am I reading that right? That seems a massive overpayment.

NT Isaac Sopoaga signed with the Eagles.
49ers are having Charles Woodson and Glenn Dorsey for a visit tomorrow.
Looks like Goldson is going to the Bucs so the Niners need a stop-gap in the Safety position. I'd rather they sign Reed than Woodson though...

Like the Dolphins, the Titans moved quickly out of the gate, reaching a six-year, $46.8 million contract with ascending guard Andy Levitre, formerly of the Buffalo Bills. The Titans offensive line was besieged by injuries in 2012 as 80 percent of the projected starting offensive line finished the season on injured reserve. That dubious list included future Hall of Famer Steve Hutchinson, who officially retired on Tuesday, opening a spot in the starting lineup (and payroll) for Levitre, a dependable, durable player who has not missed a single snap over the previous two seasons. The Titans lost Jared Cook to the St. Louis Rams, but added tight end Delanie Walker, who gets his chance to emerge from Vernon Davis' shadow. The former No. 2 tight end on the San Francisco 49ers has caught 123 passes for 1,465 yards and eight touchdowns, six of which have come in the last two seasons.

Yeah....no idea what this is all about. Good player at times, but was demolished in that PO game by the read/option of Kapernik. Only reason he had a starting position was because of the injuries to Nick Perry.

Wow the Ravens are starting the look like the 2011 Mavericks, win a title and let lots of key pieces go. Bernard Pollard joins the unemployment line.
