Team Alberta
Both of the provinces teams are currently in similar standings positions, at or near the bottom of the conference & league. Clearly not great. 
If the two teams consolidated into a single club who from the teams current rosters would that team consist of?

I started one of these last year.....didn't go over so well.

Combining both rosters would still result in a soft team with small forwards, weak defense and suspect goaltending.
A little sad for both fanbases.

I'm still not sure that team is a cup contender.
Lots of talent but too small, too soft, and not good enough defensively.
Pretty sad state of affairs in Alberta.

The current rosters for both clubs make me depressed. Remember the 80s when all teams feared coming to AB to face the Flamers and Oil. Only good part of the trip was the west coast swing to crush the Canucks over a 13 year period.

If healthy and you believe that this isn't just a hot run of 20 games for Anderson then yes.
If you take out Spezza and rate Anderson for his career still likely better slightly.
