D'Angelo Hall to the Lions has been reported as done, now the Lions have officially denied a signing is done. Still where there's smoke...

Just what the Lions need a crappy CB with attitude problems.
I thought the Lions were moving on from dealing with d-bags.

Mike Wallace has agreed to a deal with the Dolphins, pending physical. Good for Mike, parlaying running one route into being one of the highest paid receivers in football.
Edit: Apparently 5 years, $65 million. Jesus overpay...

Granted he has used that one route to average 1000 yards per season over his first four seasons.

Not to mention 8 TDs a year....dude is a threat every time the ball is snapped.
Every team needs a "single route" guy that good...though I agree the money is ridiculous

USA Today is reporting the Kansas City Chiefs are close to signing tight end Anthony Fasano.
Fasano, 28, had 41 catches with Miami last season. He is considered a solid second tight end. He has good hands and blocks well. The Chiefs’ starter is Tony Moeaki. He has big talent, but he has had difficulty staying healthy.

The 49ers/Chiefs trade is now official.
The 49ers/Ravens trade is also now official.
Thanks for the past 2 years Alex. Let's hope Boldin is the final piece for the Superbowl.
Although some of the free agents the 49ers are going to lose will hurt.

Ryan Mallet is apparently being pursued by Cleveland and Tampa Bay (?). Not sure I get the Bucs going after him, yes Freeman needs more competition, but from a veteran.
Edit: Kruger to Browns is done, 5 years, $40 million.

Dang... knew there was no chance the Ravens could keep him but sucks that he stays in the division.

Broncos go division rival stealing and sign former Chargers starting G Louis Vasquez, 4 years $24 million. 49ers lose Delany Walker who signs with Tennessee, making Jared Cook's departure official from Tennessee.

Wow, did not see that coming at all. Huge! No more Manny Ramirez! I wonder if Vazquez displaces Kuper or Beadles....interesting.

Bucs sending the team's private jet to California to pick up Dashon Goldson. I gotta imagine that deal is just about done as well.
Edit: Chase Daniel leaves the Saints, will back-up Alex Smith in KC...Guess he wisely figured he has a better chance of getting ahead of Alex Smith than Drew Brees
Double Edit: Packers are the front runners to land Steven Jackson; Irsay tweets the Colts "Have big announcements soon"...Avril perhaps?

I'll be honest. I just remember how he played when he played with the Falcons and he was a franchise CB at the time. They couldn't re-sign him.
He does have attitude problems, but I always hope that a good coach could curb those attributes of a player.

I only remember seeing him get burned on the Falcons and Redskins and blaming teammates or the refs.
You probably have seen him a lot more than me but I want no part of him on the Lions and they are one step away from starting you or me at CB.

But instead, he goes to Detroit.

In my view he is terrible. If he is gone I am glad.
Probably not actually that bad but for a guy who was drafted in the 1st round he takes a lot of penalties and is a borderline starter in the league. Would not look to him to solve any problems on the line if Indy is signing him but might work better on a better line than Detroit had.
Edit: Reading online it appears that the numbers guys loved him last year so maybe as a fan I (and many others based on fans I talk to) just don't understand the O-Line and blame him for guys running past him easily and him grabbing them when it is someone else's fault.
