New Flames Fan in BC.... HOLY CRAP I'M A DAD!!!
hey CP
well... after 9 months (which seemed like forever but actually flew by!) i'm a proud papa of a happy healthy baby girl!! 
this is my wife's and my first child, so to be honest we're sorta freaked out, but i'm sure everything will be fine
little Jordan Anne was born at 8:23 this morning. she's 6lbs 10oz and already sporting flames gear! we thought at first she had her mom's red hair, but it looks like she's a blond like her daddy.
anyways - onto some pics.....
we have her room already to go (my dad and i built the crib, dresser, change table, storage bench and wall storage unit)
my old pooh bear from my childhood hung around and is ready to great her when she gets home....
and here is the star of the show.....
she holds her thumbs just like her mom.....
sporting some sweet looking swag...
and this is a cool pic.... last night my wife and i had chinese food for something different. after dinner we had our fortune cookies and my wife's fortune was bang on!!
well - i'm now off for a fun night at the hospital

Congratulations to you and your wife! Parenthood is a fun (and sometimes trying) ride, but it is well worth it.
Dont be freaked out by what you think you dont know. You will learn as you go - a little bit each day. You arent required to know everything on day one 
Just love your little girl with all your heart, and the rest falls into place.

Don't worry, though. The heightened sense of danger takes a few months to develop. You're going to be way too tired to think about these things for quite awhile.

Congratulations to you and your wife (hopefully she's getting some rest). You guys are in for the ride of your life, but it is SO worth it. Every new thing they do is the most amazing thing you've ever seen (even the tough stuff) and it really just work itself out. Try not to stress too much, you'll both do great.

CONGRATS bc-chris! Welcome to the club! (fatherhood!) She's beautiful.
I love all the great Flames clothes she already has, and the fortune cookie thing is awesome.
Really happy for you, your wife and your whole family. Enjoy it!
ps. If you ever need any tips, advice, etc, hit me up. I'm only a year into being a Dad, but I've learned a lot. Depending on distance, and if you'd like, I think we have some girl infant clothes we can send you.
