better effort tonight for sure, but let's be honest here - the Kings was coming off a cakewalk win and had nothing to prove; the flames on the other hand had urgency and wanted to exact revenge on the Kings.
if this game was important in the scheme of things, the Kings would have rolled.

They might not get any better, but are they going to get any worse after the trade deadline?
I don't see Tampa trading off Vinny, Stamkos, St.Louis or Conarcher
Have not heard much about Washington and what they might trade off
All i have heard from Buffalo is that Stafford and Reggie will be traded if they don't improve.
Those teams will be trading off bottom 6 players and bottom pairing d-men. Calgary could be trading Iggy, one of JBO or Gio, and maybe another top 6 player like Cammi or Tangs, along with bottom players. Flames could get quite worse after the trade deadline, meaning top 5 is probably pretty safe bet.

Typical pathetic Flames.
Finallly get over. 500 for the first time all season...Promptly lose three in a row by a combined score of 13 to 3.
I hope Feaster is actually intellectually honest and makes the smart moves. He has to be a seller this year.

The Flames are going to make the playoffs you see,
It's time to trade our draft picks and Sven Baertschi.

And an easy save from being shutout.
And two easy tap ins from Penner from being blown out.
Sure it was a good effort but lets not act like it was just some tough luck for the Flames that kept the game in the Kings favor the Flames got a lot of bounces and favorable calls and were still easily beaten.

Tailspin for MacKinnon.
I hope the announcers on lottery day don't start to yammer about who gets to spin for MacKinnon, though.
