It was the right call on the no goal and if Hartley piped up based on the call in Calgary's favor (that nobody seemed to have an issue with) against Vancouver then it seems like the right call as well.

It was more fun screaming at the refs when they had their names on their backs.

It did. There was no goalie interference call at all, it did however negate the goal which is still the right call. The goalie couldn't make the save because Stempniak was on top of him, Stempniak didn't get a penalty because he was pushed.

The penalty came to Hartley in the form of a bench minor for being a d-bag. Hartley complained about the no goal call and harrased the refs so they gave him a penalty which again was the right call.

I agree that sometimes the refs take over games, this wasn't the case. Right now when someone gets a penalty for abusing the refs they deserve it because a standard has ben set. Don't PO the refs and you won't get a penalty.

Meh. Refs are human type people. Human type people talk shop and laugh about work when getting together for a beer afterwards. Human type people spin yarns and embellish to make their stories lively and interesting for their friends/co-workers.

This isn't new, and doesn't mean the refs were biased or wrong.

The Hartley penalty I have no issues with even though I agree it was a BS call. The ref wasn't going to reverse it so telling him off wasn't going to do any good.
