Play off is still a possibility, as long as we get more of those beat up teams, playing a back to back game in Calgary.

Dangerously inconsistent with a bleak future

I think we won't have much of a line up if everyone that deserves a trade gets shipped out

Oh, I see Hartley made the mistake of referring to this trip as crucial. Of course the players have folded.

Somehow I still think Doughty will be fine going into the corner against Huder or Tanguay next game.
By far the worst part of the game. These useless goons need to go and the culture that celebrates their "role". I don't mind emotions bubbling over and people fighting, but this off the face off, send a message fights are garbage.

I've had a hard time getting into any game this season. I went to bed after the second period last night. That was the first time I've ever done that in my life.

K, your right. Who do the owners get to replace him? Conroy?
He would probably make better decisions.

Every now and then (7-10 year intervals) we'll get a group of guys that just for one season play their hearts out. And then get traded off to other teams.

We need a group that consistently play well, unfortunately that requires either money or the pre-req of placing last consistently over a couple years to acquire some good picks, and unlike the Oilers who keep theirs, the Flames need to trade them off for guys who know what they're doing in their mid 20s.

That reminds me of the time he said that the team he assembled would finish 31st overall if not for kipper, completely oblivious to the indictment that was of his job as a GM.

What a circus!

I swear I just saw Iggy mutter those words "trade me" on the bench

Or it could have been "#### me"

But the Flames only one or two key pieces away from being a cup contender.

It's worse as at least the Leafs tried to trade Sundin and other losers like McCabe. Those losers all declined to wave their NTC. The Flames don't even have the stones to ask their guys to waive.
