After watching that HNIC panel breakdown of the 1st and hearing their were 5 goals in the period, you would think it was 5-0 Kings.

These are the same guys who have gushed about the Oilers all year. Yes the Flames need to make some changes but these guys do not know what the f*** they're talking about the majority of the time.

What if it was tied 3-3 or 2-2 tonight? Its a one goal game, its also not 4-0 or worse as the tone of that panel had.

Huh? It's obviously not just about this one game.

What is your point? To openly trash your team that isn't even out of this game right now?

Friedman's opinion would have been right in line with the rest of the panel, albeit more grounded, but they ran out of time.
Would everyone just be happier if every analyst/journalist/commentator around the league just licked Flame taint all the time?

Fair enough, but (a) why not show the Flames passing it around for their two goals that period?; and (b) was the Harlem Globetrotters music necessary? (I note that some producer or editor obviously had that Harlem Globetrotter music handy in the event that one team scored a nice goal; somehow I get the feeling that said producer/editor did not intend to use it if Calgary scored a nice goal...)

The Oilers have been the laughing stock of the league for the last six years, yet all CBC does is pump their tires. Oh they're so special. Look at all the uber-stars they have. Yet there they are year after year, a lottery team and never one complaint about them from CBC.

Yeah no kidding...Feaster is media friendly though, so didn't want to cook the golden goose.
Playing music like that and total drive by comments from Stock and Weekes was junk..clearly had mind made up before the 2nd Flames goal. Do they usually throw it back to the panel after 2? First time I've watch intermission in a while, and wish I hadnt.

I must say, the Little Orphan Annie act is a bit surprising to see here. "Oh, everyone's against us! Poor, poor us!"
You know who does that? Canucks fans do that. Think about it.

Maybe they could show the Flames puck movement on the PP that resulted in a slam dunk goal by Cammalleri. No that would be too impartial. I'm surprised they didn't have Hughson doing this game so he could talk for three hours about Kesler's injury status.
