FYAD is basically SAs cultural exchange room with /b/, and is mostly filled with /b/ types too lazy to move over to 4Chan after the moot-exodus.
Poe's law runs rampant in FYAD. Most goons just forget about it, since 95% of the people who post in FYAD don't post anywhere else on SA (except maybe YOSPOS), and vice versa.

Which companies do I support that support Reddit?
The echo-chamber is getting tiring. How about addressing things like violentacrez, the Reddit admins condoning of his actions, or just my OP in general, rather than addressing my rationale or motivation?
You guys all seem to be skirting the issue, and it smacks of avoidance.

Funny thing is, due to this thread, I now use Reddit twice as much as I used to, since someone pointed out that i could change my front page so I didn't, get stupid stuff on it.
Of course, twice as much as an hour or two a month really doesn't add up to much.

I think I've been on reddit a couple of times, I think mostly due to people sending me links. Beyond that I glossed over it as a bunch of communities or whatever with confusing titles where you needed to be part of the in crowd to understand it.
The OP on its own is informative to me as I was ignorant of the background and issues of the site. If the intent was "I want to create awareness and give people something to think about" then I think mission accomplished.
The rest hasn't really been informative (I admit I read long page 1 and 4 but I got the trend) other than I now know I'm out of touch with a whole genre of internet acronyms and slang terms. Thankfully by only reading page 1 and 4 I was able to find out what goon meant.
