This one game losing streak is an outrage and an embarrassment! Just move the team to Seattle already.

What an overreaction. The Flames dominated most of the game. The Ducks goalies have been frustrating teams all year. Not to mentioned the terrible ice.

What an under reaction. With so many Flames fans scrambling for excuses for every loss the team doesn't need to come up with any. It seems we've been conditioned to accept this team will never makes the playoffs...but damn we were so close and things just didn't quite go our way.

Ugh...

LOL man this place is awesome. The Flames did not dominate most of the game, and even if they did big friggin hairy deal they netted a total of zero goals. Both teams played on the same ice remember? Good goaltending is part of the game, if the Flames would have won because of it, yea...

Some people are just happy with losing, because the team almost won because reasons.

Some might be over reacting to the loss but some are also under reacting to the mediocrity. This team's goal is to get 8th place, not home ice even, not the Stanley Cup, 8th place.

The fact that the Flames "dominated" most of the game is all the more reason to be worried. If the Flames can play well for most of a game and the other team still wins most of the time, something IS wrong.

This team hasn't been able to get it done for too long. Changing coaches hasn't worked. Changing GM's almost blew up in the teams face and the only players being changed are draft picks for players who were here and couldn'g make it work before.

I agree..... something's gotta give

"...
I can feel it coming
I think I know what it means
I'm not afraid to die
I'm not afraid to live
And when I'm flat on my back
I hope to feel like I did

'cause hardness, it sets in
You need some protection
The thinner the skin

I want you to know
That you don't need me anymore
I want you to know
You don't need anyone, or anything at all

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know, which way the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
Don't want to see you cry
I know that this is not goodbye

In summer I can taste the salt in the sea
There's a kite blowing out of control on a breeze
I wonder what's gonna happen to you
You wonder what has happened to me

I'm a man, I'm not a child
A man who sees
The shadow behind your eyes

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know, where the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
I don't want to see you cry
I know that this is not goodbye

Did I waste it?
Not so much I couldn't taste it
Life should be fragrant
Roof top to the basement
The last of the rocks stars
When hip-hop drove the big cars
In the time when new media
Was the big idea
What was the big idea"

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I'm convinced the brass is doing the best they can with what they have. No need to panic people, stay the course. The Flames are going to have some transition pains as we continue to recover from the Sutters.

wow. just wow. If they're doing the best they can with what they have, and what they have isn't enough.....change what you have. This team is being run from top to bottom pretty terribly.

But I guess real fans make excuses and bad fans want success.

You can still be a life long fan and admit the team sucks.

THIS TEAM SUCKS

It is a rotten mess. Each year since the end of 2006 it gets more bloated, fuzzy, greener and smellier.

Yes, those of us who see this team for what it is are not true fans and are being too hard on this team. It's hilarious. Some fans are completely delusional...perhaps as much as the players. If you read their comments today along with Hartley's it's alarming. The mentality seems to be why change anything, we were the better team...and we're so close. Hmmm...how has that worked out? This team has had such a raw deal and no luck since 2004. Ugh.

Instead of a rebuild this team will mortgage what's left of our future for that key missing piece to put them over the top...

I can't believe fans are still buying what they're selling
