I don't even know what they could of done to win this game. They played their ass off for most of the game and had no answer for Fasth. Every single screw up ends up being costly.
Sadly the storyline will be the Flames outplayed the Ducks for most of the game and just didn't have by luck, blah, blah, blah...this team sucks that's why they're losing. There are always excuses though with this team and half the delusional fan base
Just got home. I wasn't able to watch the game at all. Sounds like the Flames haven't played that badly despite the score. So why did we lose? Kipper have a bad night? Idiotic defensive lapses?
Kipper had a fine night, just one of those games where you couldn't buy a goal, Anaheim just stemmed the tide long enough to get a second goal, then the flames had to open up their game, which allowed some big chances for the ducks, which they capitalized on.

I wouldn't say the Flames suck, but the Ducks are a cup contender and the Flames are a 8-14 bubble team. You can clearly see the separation in talent the fact the Ducks can show up for 5 minutes and win lol.

That's exactly what I saw. Those "breaks" are a team that knows how to find the back of the net, all the hard work in the world is useless when you can't beat the goaltender.
Anaheim has gotten good goaltending sure but how many times has Calgary made the oppositions goalie look unbeatable.

This line of thinking is exactly what is wrong. It's NEVER the flames night. Nobody is just "unlucky" or "unfortunate" as often as this team. How is it so many other teams find ways to win?? This team sucks...but they should keep Iginla because its so much more fun to lose with him on the team.
Anaheim is straight up a better team even using their pinky of skill or showing up for 5 min. I wasn't expecting to win this one any way. We need to win against teams like Col, Min and PHX. I think Anaheim is untouchable for the Flames they haven't won in Anaheim since 2004.
