Rangers tie it up at 2-2, the Jets lead 2-1 at the end of the first period, and Nashville has a 1-0 lead on the Oilers.

12 minutes and 1 shot for the Oilers. Very special indeed.

The Oilers really should consider rebuilding.

I'm SO happy that the Oilers are playing so terribly. This is karma for trying to take the easy way out of building a hockey team. Karma to the management of the club and karma to the fans. They truly deserve this.

Calgarypuck is a pleasure to browse without all the Oiler fans posting (except for one user - we all know who), and I'm glad they've went back into hibernation.

I wouldn't have thought it was possible but I think Edmonton might actually be worse than last year so far. Decent special teams is about the only thing keeping them from being an unmitigated disaster.

You've got to give Katz credit though. He's managed to keep a full building every night while spending about $15M below the cap just by exploiting the fans' delusions of future greatness.

You should read the Oilers/Flames debate group i'm a part of on facebook. All of them are pretty much suicidal right now and are praying for Seth Jones.

LOL... I love how quickly they go from "We're something special!" to "Let's get that 1st overall pick, so then we will be something special!!"

The Oilers are bordering on being the worst team in the history of the NHL IMO.

And boom - 3-0 Nashville hahaha
