Petry was the third star in tonight's game. Why? Two blocked shots.

hahahahaha

anybody else loving how they continue on with that Oil Change series on Sportsnet? I think it lags a full month behind, so they're still at the point where every idiot they interview is making comparisons to the 1984 team. you won't find higher quality comedy anywhere else on TV right now.

His dad is a former MLB player and was at the game tonight so maybe to appease him?

I watched a bit of it last night, and its such a homer show.

They had one sequence where a defensemen blocks a shot and limps off of the ice, they flash to the score board and its a final score of 3-1 Colorado and the announcer declares another Warrior for the Oilers.

then I laughed and a bunch of scotch came out of my nose.

The Oiler Fans are like the guy with no confidence pining for the homely chick because his expectations have been lowered to the point that drafting number one year after year is a source of pride.

I really think that the draft order has to be changed so if you finish last one year you draft number one, finish last two years in a row your pick is number 10, third year 16 fourth year, the league takes your team over and fires your management team and you draft 30th

After Kindl scored the shots were 12-5 Detroit for that period. Good try!

For that to happen, the Coyotes would also need to take out the Blues. Unfortunately, neither happened as the Stars beat the Kings 5-2 and the Blues beat the Coyotes 6-3. Dallas scored 3 goals in the 3rd period en route to their win. The Blues were down 2-1 before scoring 5 straight. Stupid Oilers lose 3-0 to Detroit, Howard with the SHUTOUT. The BJs win 2-1 in OT over the Canucks, LOL. The BJs are only 6 points back of 8th place. The Jets with backup Montoya in net beat Tampa 2-1 in reg time. The Capitals hammer the Panthers 7-1. The Rangers beat the Isles 2-1 in reg time. Nabokov was great in a losing cause, 37 shots. The Habs beat Carolina 4-2. Habs were up 2-0, Hurricanes tie it, and the Habs score 2 more. The Bruins beat the Leafs 4-2 as well and stay a point back of the Habs. The Devils win in the SO, 3-2 over the Sabres. Hedberg finally played well. The Penguins pull off a great 3 goal comeback over the Flyers, 5-4 in reg time. Just another crazy game between those 2 teams.

what a great hockey day.... Leafs lose to Bruins (not to mention Seguin getting 3 points ), Canucks lose to the worst team in the conference, oilers get shutout.

Right now. I want Lowe and tambo gone. I think his 23 year plan is to have every position filled with a first overall pick. Yikes. Had it pvr'ed but am just gonna delete it.

Kudos to you for showing up and acknowledging that what is going on up there isn't so special.
