We should really have 3 conferences.

1 for the West
1 for the East
1 for the "special" teams. Dallas, Washington, etc. They all get trophies and ribbons no matter where they finish.

3/4 of a season of success and you are already unbearable Pat. I can only imagine what you will be like if you actually make the playoffs.

That said, another ribbon would help to bring visual balance to my collection of broom-ball trophies and Bandy plaques.

IMO we should align with the NHL even if the west teams have a greater chance of making the playoffs. If we want the CPHL to mirror the NHL as close as possible I think we also make the switch.

The west does not have more of a chance. There is 4 wild card spots.
