No more Celtic or Rangers talk. Gotcha.
Looks like Rooney's going to be heaviest transfer rumour of the summer.
Helluva an article.

"A couple of years ago, if Wayne wasn't the first-choice striker, he would have played him in left midfield or behind the striker. For him not to start is a real kick in the teeth. Obviously Wayne has got to get his head down now and start recapturing his best form."
Ten years ago, David Beckham was snubbed by Ferguson for a big Champions League match against Madrid — and then left United for the Spanish team at the end of the season. Ruud van Nistelrooy was left out of United's side for the 2006 League Cup final following an apparent rift with Ferguson and wasn't at the club the following campaign.

British bookmaker William Hill has odds of 7-2 on Rooney leaving in the offseason, with Manchester City the favorite to sign him.

Ya no more talking about celtic on the board because some weird ranting rangers fan doesn't like them - definitely added to my to do list.
PSG could just be a massive club with a huge modern stadium and their new backer. Always struck me as odd that Paris only really has the one medium or big club and I like Parc des Prince but for a big champions league game you'd think they could sell twice as many tickets. Good to see new blood go through but I feel a bit for Valencia with their crippling debt.

Much appreciated
I think the problem with PSG building a bigger stadium is it will be half empty during the league games. But they are modernizing the parc de prince, they should have just build a new modern stadium instead

haha if nothing else I have to admire your stubbornness.
I think alot of their attendance woes in the league have to do with their the way the bolougne boys or whatever they're called run half the stadium. Lots of north africans who fill up most of the burbs won't even go when they associate the club with right wing nationalist fans who crap on immigrants and minorities but the catchment area for the club is so huge, the potential is just limitless.
I went to a cup final at the stade de france a few years ago, two medium/small clubs with maybe 10-15K in travelling support and the stadium was completely sold out, always felt there is such huge growth potential for a club team in that market and in french football in general, if not to join the big 4 at least to be clearly the 5th best league in europe.

Rube and Dianne may have a heart attack but I am fine with any Rooney Tottenham rumours.
I don't live in England and outside of cam here I don't really have an issue with Man U.
He fills a need with Adebayor taking this year off after a great year last year.

Ferguson will be there to conduct it but is there a deeper sub-plot to Rooney's exclusion? An understandable debate quickly began as to whether this was the beginning of the end for him at Old Trafford.
It was not so long ago that the idea of leaving Rooney out of United's biggest game of the season, arguably their biggest since the 2011 Champions League final against Barcelona at Wembley, would have been unthinkable. The notion would have been laughed out of town.
Not any more. Not when he cannot get in the team to face Real Madrid at Old Trafford. The mantle of United's most significant striker has already passed to Robin van Persie - on Tuesday Rooney could not even make the team alongside him. It is not an indignity he usually has to suffer and not one that will sit easily with him

3-0 is actually flattering to Inter.
They were awful out there and lucky not to have been beaten by more.

really enjoyed the Spurs game tonight, they were dominant for 90 minutes. I agree with moon, 3-0 was flattering for Inter. Really enjoy watching Tottenham right now, very entertaining and fast-paced football. Well done.

Except for the fact that the only manager Rooney has ever seemed to show up for is SAF. Not to mention his fitness problems and outrageous wages. I'd rather Levy break the wage scale on Bale than Rooney.

he's going to though, but it's still now the same
at this point Rooney isn't even in Bale's league
but there are stories in the Guardian and other reputable papers that he is willing to break it to offer Bale 150k a week up from 90 if/when they qualify for CL
Man United pay Rooney 300k a week, no one outside Anzhi/PSG are going to pay him that much, so even if he wants to leave (which I don't believe) it won't be in England
