As long as its not 0-3 or 1-2 I'll probably still not give up hope. Just trying to be optimistic. Not going to be an easy 3 games.

I couldn't quite make out what Kerr and Simmer were saying at the end tonight but it was something along the lines of the team not winning in Anaheim since 04.

Roger Millions thinks Baertschi might of got hurt from getting belted by Douglas Murray in the second period.

2 points behind a playoff spot with a game in hand and holding all the tiebreakers.
I believe.

Where did that version of Comeau come from? I like him. Baertschi needs to play better to get more ice time. Comeau played well tonight, hope we see that more often.
Kipper was great. Time to get on a roll

This being my point. If they can win in Anaheim tomorrow, it will be such a boost!

They had an epic choke job in ANA in the last few years, just can't remember the details.

I would be happy with 3. Getting 7 points out of the first 5 games of March would be 3-4 more points then i thought they could get.

I do like how the team has evolved positively throughout the season.
This is a different team than the one that started the season, they have tightened up defensively and are playing bigger than they are.
Biggest thing with this team is the mental aspect. They have to cut the crap and if they do, they could be in decent shape.

On the Fan they just interviewed assistant coach and they said they shortened the bench to three lines with the game on the line.
Said baertschi wasn't playing too well so they moved up Comeau

You'd need to check with Dion on that one. He made the sig.
All I did was add the text, with link.

What's the small patch on the front of the Sharks jersey? GGII? What exactly is that?

You mean when idiot Bork took a penalty behind the ducks net with 2 minutes left to go in the 3rd with us up by one? We missed the playoffs because of that game. What a back breaker.

On top of finally getting over .500,
- Flames 5-2-1 in their last 8 at home to get that record back over .500 as well;
- Calgary's PK, which started the year dead last, has killed off 28 of the last 30;
- Loved Stajan's hustle again, but tough night in the circle for him, going 6 for 20
- The difference between this game and game 1 vs. the Sharks: chances from the slot. Calgary did a much better job of clogging up the middle (with a few glaring exceptions in the second off of turnovers).
- Wish more of Calgary's D would follow Brodie's lead and try to skate with the puck rather than automatically firing it away. The panic threshold for this team is still too low leading to icings and easy reads for opposing D to pinch down the boards.

The next road trip is pretty huge.......come out of it at .500 or above and I'll start believing. I still have no idea what this team is all about. I still think we should see some major changes, but it sure is fun watching them win and having guys like Comeau surprise us and contribute.
With Kipper back anything is possible. When this team feels like playing motivated hockey with the forwards coming back to close the gap and help out it looks like a team that can make the playoffs. They need to head to California with the mindset that they are the better team.........they cannot play teams like Anaheim and LA just hoping not to lose.
Winning is fun. Let's hope we continue to see more.

Last regular season win in Anaheim was January 19, 2004 (5-1)
Since then...

Out scored 32-54
