The entire fourth line didn't play in the third. That's where Baertschi would've lined up after Comeau took his spot. Baertschi played a terrible game, out battled at every turn.

So much for the schlubs running here a month ago and predicting the end of Kiprusoff. Happens every year, usually after a couple bad games. This time, there was some useless stats that tried to back that up by being the "statistically worst goalie".
Great goal by Comeau, and the dagger from Iginla with a classic.
Those are the kind of wins that are key for team confidence...even game going into the third, but then take control. Monkey off the back as they aren't behind the 8 ball just to get to .500 again, so maybe they can relax rather then be nervous this trip.

If the Flames win in Anaheim they will make the playoff cut IMO. It will be a revolutionary win.

It's all coming together.

The Flames need to rack up 3 more in a row and make a statement.
This team can play. They just need the proper motivation and encouragement.

I really enjoyed that game, it's nice to have Kipper back. I still don't trust this team, they could be 5th in the west right now and I'd be waiting for the bottom to drop out.
I feel like an abused spouse I love them, but one day soon they're going to get drunk, come home with ####ty by-the-slice pizza and backhand me in the eye.
