Calgary needs to keep up this kind of pressure. Could be 3-0 soon if they do.

Awesome period by the Flames. Solid effort and puck pursuit for the entire period, some smart defensive play, and Kipper looks good for his first game back. Let's just hope they don't pull their usual falling-asleep-at-the-wheel crap in the 2nd. Gotta keep skating and keep the energy up.

Yes, it is an NHL d-man, and stuff like that happens quite often.
He went for the hit, the guy got by him a bit and nothing happened. Pretty common.

I'll admit I was never a fan of Butler but the hate for him is getting ridiculous.
That was a good period for Butler, even better when you consider the icetime.
