Yup, the diving from the Bruins in that game was bad. Marchand seems to go through phases where he's really bad for diving, drives me nuts. The Seguin one, I don't think that was a dive, the trainers were with him on the bench constantly after that one. Either way, there's nothing I hate more than to see my team diving like that, total BS.
Always liked Claude Julien, but him calling his own team on diving makes my respect go up for him ten fold. I am Glad he is addressing this. And for the record, I never liked Marchand and now I dislike him even more.
While he wasn't calling out his team, in the same press conference, didn't he say something like "We are working at getting this out of our team". I could have sworn I heard something along those lines when I first heard the full presser.
Pretty sure you could make a video of every team with highlights like this.
Exactly. The point isn't that the Bruins are the diviest bunch of divers who ever dove, they're not. The point is really that every team does this stuff, certain teams just get a worse reputation based on media coverage.

Show me a Flames dive. If you can find one. 8 dives in 7 years. 5 of them within a 4 game span last year. 3 of them by the same guy.

Certain teams have a worse reputation based on being worse offenders.
I know Hudler dove once or twice but hasn't for a while. It's okay to embellish a bit, that's something that you'll see in ANY competitive sport. If you take a stick to the face, sure, make a scene to make sure the ref notices and the proper penalty is called, but if you do anything more, it just makes you look pathetic, honestly. The Flames are a very honorable organization in that sense, very rarely do I see a Flame dive.

Brendan Morrison had a couple beauty dives when he first signed with the Flames, but they were eventually worked out of his system.

The point however is that the Canucks are the diviest bunch of divers that ever dove.
Just because "every team does this stuff" doesn't mean that the Canucks aren't the worst of the worst by FAR in the NHL, because they are.
I laugh out loud at your comment that, "certain teams just get a worse reputation based on media coverage". Actually certain teams get a worse reputation based on using your eyes while watching the Canucks play hockey.

I still remember Claude Lemieux got so bad for his diving and faking injuries that the trainers wouldn't go out to help him, they'd just stare at him until he got up.

He's busy having Easter dinner and only has time to laugh at the Flames. Look at his post history and when he contributes. Feaster made that ROR mistake and he was rubbing it in. He made 2 posts in the GT against the Canucks, one was "lol at the fans booing an obvious interference call" and the other was about the Feaster mistake again. Funny how he didn't find time to post in the PGT or when we had the lead. Typical Canuck fan.
He's been a troll since his infamous "LA is the easiest matchup for the Canucks" rant that blew up in his face.
