All I said was the guy who wrote the episode, is taking over for Glenn Mazzara. I don't know exactly what you think you're replying to.

I wonder how the hiker who decided it would be a good idea to shout as loud as possible at Rick's car survived to this point.

When Rick asked him what are you looking at? It showed on the map made by Morgan that the entire block was gone by fire. That is what Carl meant when he siad " It' gone".

You've got a cool black chick running around with a sword and two zombies, that reveal last season was amazing. They kill off her Zombie friends almost immediately and she never looks cool with that sword! Look at last night, she's walking around with a sword and it's awkwardly wrapped around her shoulder, looking all sloppy. There are so many simple things this should could do to improve it.

The problem you have is that you have read the comics, many of us have not. And we don't care about anything that happend in the comics.

You are thinking way to hard for a fun TV show.

What happens in the comics does not affect the bad acting and miscasting on tv.

I'm interested to hear what you think good acting would be on a show about zombies? Rick, Morgan, Daryl, Merle, and Herschel are all well-cast, fine actors.
Unfortunately, the show itself will not be able to duplicate everything that occurred in your imagination while you were reading the comics.

Wondering when "going out on a run" means hunting survivors for food ala The Road. That would make things interesting...

I know this is a no comic book talk thread but the only miscast they have made so far imo has been Andrea. But I think that has more come down to the writing and the route her character took vs. the comics than the actual acting.

Andrea, Michonne and the Governor. All 3 characters play a major role on the show and in the books. More than Morgan, Daryl, Merle,Glen and Herschel.
Forget the comics. those 3 terrible actors are just terrible.

I think you need to seperate the show from the comics. Much like a movies "based on" a book, it often never lives up to the book.

I will give you Andrea. She has irritated me since day 1, but the character is allowed to go in a different direction from the comic book.
The other two, eh, I don't mind Michonne or the Governor.

I think Michonne has translated from the books to the screen pretty good. In the books she's cold and surly and doesn't say much, in the show she is cold and surly and doesn't say much.
The Governor and Andrea not so much. I like the Governor of the books better and think it would've made for a better show as well.

I can. I think Rick is great. and same with Glen and Herschel. but when 3 of your 4 main characters are terrible actors thats not a good thing.
Michonne just looks totally ridiculous with that sword. they should just make her lose it.
