It pains or bugs me more when someone I know by virtue of the internet is suffering from these disease, directly or indirectly and that we should rather focus on those folks.
So my apologies to all that I offended, the post made in haste obviously offended quite a few on a very personal and sensitive subject. So again, my apologies.

Way to man up. Most people wouldn't have the courage to re-address this.

Hopefully everything works out for Moore. On a hockey note, if or when he is ready to return to hockey he would be a great addition for the Flames. A good defensive player who is great on the dot and can contribute a little in a 3rd/4th line center role.

The Bourque comment was somewhat tongue in cheek by me, but he made a comment about how being the wife of a pro hockey player was like winning the lottery in 2011.
I am assuming that is the part you wanted explained, not the do a lot behind the scenes.

Bertuzzi and the Canucks still need to pay dearly for his brother getting bertuzzied.
“He has never been the same,” Dominic Moore says. A lawsuit is still pending. There has been no compensation. “He and his wife are supporting themselves. But that’s a tale for another time.”

So sad:
She died with her eyes open. “She was afraid that if she closed her eyes, she wouldn’t wake up.” Doctors had given her drugs to help her sleep. “But they didn’t work. She had this inhuman strength.”
I can't imagine the grief.

My 10 year old niece died of cancer 2 years ago. My sister in law facetimed us from the hospital in Hongkong 20 minutes before she passed away. That was the worst thing i had ever seen with her coughing up blood and other stuff. Her last words to me was that she wanted to go back to school.

Sorry to hear that. Its so unfair and those who are effected by it are truly the bravest and most couragious people imo.
