how about all the times a player does the Heavy weight belt gesture or pumping their fist. None of them ever result in a 10 min.
We have even seen players give the go to sleep gesture and not a 10 min. Refs pick their spots.

Baertschi has definitely been getting his share of ice time and showing that he deserves it.

Didn't Asham get a suspension for that or at least a notable warning? I'm sure after that sleeping gesture, they have started doing this.

Well Van had a tough game last night and a brutal day of travel. Flames should own this period.

Yeah, and I get the sense that his teammates are not very confident in him. I think it was late on the Flames' PP, and the Canucks got a fairly long-range shot in on Taylor which he bobbled a bit and it was held between his pads. You could see him hesitating on whether or not he should play it, and just as he was about to play the puck, you could hear one of the Flames D yell "play the puck!"

I can't remember the last time I heard a defenseman yell orders at the goalie.

Also, what's his stated height and weight, because he looks tiny.

I sure hope they are just giving Butler more minutes to show case him for a trade. If he starts playing top 4 mins again we are done.

I love the fact O'Reilly scored on his own net tonight! Ninja helping the Flames from within!

in 3rd Hartley allow McGrattan to smash some more Van gimps. Bump up Sven's ice kids been flying out there and saved 2 goals on loose pucks the Tayor gave up fat rebounds.

The more Baertschi plays, the more the kid evolves. In the 1st he suddenly became this defensive machine. What's next?

LET. HIM. PLAY.

This is due to Sven just having recently played in front of junior goalies. He's used to this.

Flames are playing better/Vancouver playing more meh.
Flames with a bit of push should get it done, it's just if Taylor can keep the puck under some control.

They left a little later and got in a little later then they should. If that's brutal they are a bunch of primadonnas.
