The Official Fire Feaster Thread
Hoping to keep all the fire Feaster sentiments in one thread.
For the record I have been a Feaster supporter for his time here until recently when the realization came that this team simply wasn't completely prepared to ice a playoff team this season by a lot of their own doing. I'm done. I am disgusted by the response to this whole fiasco that is essentially treating Flames fans like idiots. Neil Smith just came on 960 and laid it out that the Flames are simply putting a spin on their mistake. I believe Flames fans deserve more than this type of explanation and quite frankly deserve better than the crap that had been spoon fed to us over the past three years.
This isn't just one mistake but it's the cumulation of many and the latest where the Flames dodged quite possibly the biggest gaffe in league history. The team has now unseated the Oilers and Islanders as laughing stock of the league and the man in charge must pay the price.
Jay I like you personally. You seem like a decent man but you need to join Craig Button on TV and stick to talking not managing NHL franchises.

Agree. I have no Faith in Feaster. This could have been worse than the Gilmore trade. If Ken King won't do it, he should be gone to. Enough's enough already.

The thought of Feaster running the show here is terrifying. You just know he's going to trade our 1st for Dominic Moore or some crap.
Has a 14th placed team ever been a buyer on deadline day? We're about to make history here boys...

Feaster had been growing on me from his work through the draft.
It absolutely disgusts me that he admitted he knew the risk and was willing to make this move knowing full well there was a good chance they would lose O'Reilly due to their difference of opinion regarding the rule.
We are so far away from being in a position to make a gutsy move like this it is laughable. Reeks of pure desperation IMO.

That one debates wether he should be fired or not for one incident. This is the place to go if you want him to walk the plank for various reasons. However if the mods like they can do as they please and close it.

I've been saying that management is/was doing a bad job for a while. Not trading away assets, making bad offers and just putting a sub par team together year after year and than this. This has to be the final straw

I still think the real problem is the owners and Ken King. I like to think that both Feaster and Weisbord know that this team isn't strong enough to be a good playoff team. I think that a rebuild may have already started if the owners weren't afraid that the average fan would be upset if we traded Iggy and other players. As most of the fans watch the game for enjoyment but I don't think they follow and understand the situation we are in quite as much as us cpers.
