Would not sign any of them.
I guess i would re-sign Iggy if he wanted $4 million. But i don't see him signing for anything less than Doan.
Same goes for Cervenka. He will make more back in Europe than in the nhl.

I don't see them trading Iginla, other than that there isn't much value, if any at all.
If they actually start playing Babchuk, and he gets hot, he might bring a mid round pick, otherwise nothing to see here.

Babchuk, Kolanos, Comeau, Begin (I like but I think Bouma takes his spot) I think are for sure gone. Maybe Babchuk gets traded but that's a stretch.
Cervenka, Carson are fringe. Cervenka especially. Maybe he decides he wants to go back and light up the K and make way more dough. Maybe the team decides it was fun while it lasted. Jury is still out IMO.
McGratton and MacDonald I think at least come back for try outs. McGratton fills the scrapper role, which this team needs at times. MacDonald is a capable backup and I could see him backing up Kipper for another year or two. Ramo may come in and take his job though.
I hope Iggy and the team can reach a mutual agreement that sees him dealt but I think they'll just re sign him. This organization seems reluctant to consider moving him for a few reasons and he also has his say as well.
Ill admit I have never heard of Ben Walter before today.... don't follow the farm that closely!

I don't think Iginla will re-sign here. He has to be sick of this. How can he not? The guy is a bigger comprtitor than anyone on this forum, and if we are all so frustrated, imagine how he must feel.
He's probably just pissed at ownership for forcing him to request a trade so he will look like the bad guy. It's really small of ownership to take this route, all to save face and say "we didn't want to trade the face of the franchise, he asked us to now please renew your season tickets cause we love your money".

They're all gone except Iggy and Cervenka. Cervenka will be cheap and with Hudler here I doubt he leaves. Yes he could be making more money in the KHL, but he said his dream was to play in the NHL so I don't think he'll leave after 1 season.

With our luck, Feaster will attempt to sign everyone.... Out of that list, I'd like to only see Cervenka and McGratton signed.

McGrattan, why would you resign him? Improving this hockey club by signing a older tough guy from another team's minor league affiliate? That's another step in the wrong direction.
Iginla for much less and Cervenka, but that's it.

I think Cevenka may stay in the NHL next year but not with the Flames. By the sounds of his translated interview he's not a fan of how the coach is handling him. He's shown enough skill that a few teams will likely be calling. He would be a great fit with the Wings.

I'm pretty sure it's now safe to say that things aren't working out with this team, sure there are some sentimental bonds with some players but it's not working out. I would honestly be happy if no one on that list is back next year. McGrattan is the only player I would think twice about, I guess it depends how he plays in the next little while. This team can't get it done so keeping it together is a step in the wrong direction.
If they're going to do a "rebuild" and fill the team with younger players, I think it's important to have a guy like McGrattan around to keep the other teams honest.
I love Iggy, he's my favourite player and likely always will be, but it's not working out.
Knowing the way our team is being run, I'm guessing everyone on that list will be back except maybe one or two guys and next year we'll make a pitch for someone, almost get them and finish 10th-13th again

The wings didn't think enough of hudler to resign him, can't imagine they will jump at the chance to get Cervenka.

The wings didn't sign Hudler because he's being over paid by their standards. I'm sure they would have taken him back at less money, but he wanted more. It seems like most players on the wings take less and play more of a team game. I've been saying that Cervenka would be a great fit on the wings for a while and we should look at trading him there at some point before the season is over.

With their crop of impending UFAs, the option to trade some higher-profile guys like Iginla, Giordano and Cammalleri, and a potential top 5 draft pick.... if ever there was a year to "rebuild", this is it.

The Wings liked Hudler but they didn't want to pay what the Flames were paying for him.

wouldn't trading a potential top 5 pick be counter productive to a rebuild? The point of trading guys like Iginla, Giordano and Cammalleri would be to aquire more young players or picks. If you're going to trade away picks, they're only going to end up in the same position as they're in now. They should be trying to get more top 5 picks, not trading them away.

On one hand you have to love their willingness to spend money on players. On the other hand you have to hate their stubborness to keep pushing onward with a flawed core of players..
