Its the Ham derby, the game to decide which team is indeed the hammiest.

Ironic from a Spurs' perspective.

Just another day for Bale, 2 goals in addition to taking the free kick that Gylfie ended up scoring from.

That last goal was ridiculous. Pretty much the definition of creating something out of nothing.

Just on the tube on my way home from the game. Took my sister who is visiting to her first PL game. Turned out to be a exciting one. Too bad hammers didn't pull through with at least a point, but got my monies worth. Finnish keeper kept West Ham in for awhile, seems to be a theme for teams I support.

Great atmosphere for the derby and a nice tribute to Bobby Moore.

Spurs prove to be the hammiest ham of them all.

and to think ......... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...reth-Bale.html

Would love to see Spurs and Arsenal edge Chelsea into 5th but looking at the run in Spurs by far have the most difficult games remaining.

the story seems to be that Redknapp was ready to let him go on loan with a permanent option but Levy said no way

would have been absolute madness, he's worth Ronaldo money now

but as the gif in 1588 shows, he and the rest of the Spurs players really seem to like AVB, the bench goes crazy at every goal. There was another one of AVB and Parker after the match as well.

I don't think he leaves regardless of CL for the next two seasons at least, wouldn't surprise me if he lengthened his deal to 2018 with a hefty wage at some point in the next few months

my money is on if he does go its to RM after Ronaldo leaves (which is 3-4 years away)

CR7 is coming home this summer, and RM will have an excess of riches to spend.

Except that Levy is in no hurry to sell Bale. I believe he still has 3 years remaining on his deal. I wouldn't bank on Ronaldo to United anyways. He's just as likely to follow Mourinho and/or end up at PSG.

Mourinho + Ibrahimovic + Ronaldo ... that's a sitcom I would watch.

I may have to watch the French league if that happens

Ibra on his own hasn't been enough, but Jose and CR7 may be enough

really hope the BeIN sport mess gets sorted out for next year, very annoying having to watch any La Liga/Championship/League Cup on streams this season

Not EPL related any more but......

Quote:
Mario Balotelli has added to his reputation for the extreme by commissioning a life-sized statue of himself to be made for his home in Brescia.

"I have received the commission, but I've never met Balotelli so I am working from photos," Scarpella told the paper. "I presented several drawings but Mario wanted to be immortalised in a pose that shows him having scored a goal, highlighting his muscles and with an expression of defiance.

"I have imagined him as an athlete from ancient times and the statue will be a mix of classical and pop style in platinum and coloured bronze with the eyes made of stones."

Is it BeIn's fault or the leagues' for giving them the rights to the matches without ensuring they have access to the Canadian markets?

I don't think the leagues care, it's highest bidder wins

BeIn bought content before they had an providers, in the US I still think they are only on DirecTV and not Dish, some but not all cable markets etc.

They didn't realize how backwards the CRTC is

my hope is that when Sportsnet fully takes over the Score that they use it as an extra channel for stuff like this and pays a license fee to BeIn for canadian coverage

So who will be managing Chelsea this weekend against West Brom?

I can't blame Benitez for saying what he did, and like him a bit better after he snapped. No one forced him to take the job, but at the same time the fans have been a little too harsh I think.

RDM should have been given at least one proper season.
