Best part of the PP is the fact that it ended at the end of the period...had that been the beginning of the period, and turned out the way it did, it would've been the big momentum change as the team just on the PP gets deflated and the other team rises.

That's a wash now with the intermission. Flames have just as much time to regroup as Minnesota does.

Flames have played a good game...hope that MacDonald doesn't do anything to hurt the team in the 3rd (he hasn't the last two games), and they've played well enough to win so far, just have to keep it going.

I'm not watching the game but rather trying to follow along in this thread. By the sounds of it we're down 3-0 heading into the 3rd. I was a little surprised to see that the Flames are actually leading 1-0 after two periods on the road against a divisional rival.

Keenan is a jackass. You don't normally expect a guy to take 5 strides and clock you in the head long after the puck is gone. You don't expect it because it hardly happens, this isn't Slapshot.

Hopefully that Stajan scare wake upper management up to get something into the dressing room. At least have some insurance in case Backlund or Stajan goes down later on in the season.
