Gotta give the wild credit... That was a textbook pk... They wanted the puck more than Calgary...

Wild have just missed the net, attempts at goals is something like 45-20 for them.
No wonder they are the worst scoring team in the league.

He did most of the work in the last 2 mins of that PP. Kept the puck in the zone multiple times by himself.

The puck was barely in the zone the entire power play and Iginla coughed up the puck multiple times.

wow our player gets a cheap shot to the head and this is the pp we respond with way to deter other teams from taking liberties boys. Hopefully coyle answers the bell in the 3rd and stajan returns

Not that I'm adding anything new but just let me add what a friggen disgrace that 5 minute power play was. Good teams would bury the opposition in that situation. Now it is going to be a life and death struggle in the third. These guys never learn.

Relax, we've been playing hard all game. They had a good kill and we had Glencross.
Good game effort wise so far.

Need to forget about that waste of a 5 minute PP and concentrate on playing a smart, effective 3rd period. Can't let that last PP deflate them.
|
I sincerely hope they don't. Not ever. If the Flames were playing a better team you can absolutely bet they'd be punished for that embarrassing mess.

Even with those zero shots we're gonna win because the Wild are really bad. What a dud that team turned out to be.

Get the feeling that if the Wild score one goal early in the 3rd that the walls are going to come down on the Flames.

It's like the twilight zone in here. Out come the wolves, Flames have the lead, and the game isn't even over yet.....

I never thought I could be so angry with our team being up 1 going into the third. Just brutal efforts all around.

Horrible waste of a 5 min powerplay but they can still walk away with the W. They need to reset and play a focused 3rd and the game should be a success.
