LF: Carfax Report

Hello,

I was just interested in purchasing a vehicle here in Ontario, and have the VIN from the seller, and was wondering if someone could provide a carfax report if they have access? Please PM me if possible. Very much appreciated.

If the car has a Canadian origin, use Carproof (https://www.carproof.com/) to get it's history. Carfax is usually incomplete for Canadian vehicles. You will have to purchase the report though and a comparison of them can be found here: https://www.carproof.com/Products/Compare.aspx

Damn, the report is pretty expensive @ $40. I assume there aren't really any alternatives to getting that?

Depending on what the car fax shows $40 bucks can be pretty cheap insurance

Carproof has saved me more than once by showing me that the seller was being less than forthcoming on some vehicles I have purchased - you think $40.00 is expensive? it could potentially save you from making a mistake worth thousands of dollars.....
pull out your credit card and run a report :-)
