K, I want revenge on these desert Goons.

That last game was ridiculous.

Iginla is better than Doan and he's gotta show him up tonight. If he can't find the net, then he's gotta contribute via assists again like last night, for example on that scoring play when he drew the two guys to him in front of the net opening up that space for Stajan on the other side. plays like that.

Aliu's gotta be our sandpaper. The yotes get irritated pretty easily, so his job shouldn't be that hard, but if he can throw a few of them off their game, maybe paste a couple of them into the boards and get them frothing at the mouths a bit, especially their bigger guys, it could really help us.

Sven's gotta keep skating hard and do what he's doing, and wait for those Hudler set ups, cause you know Huds is going to find him at least a couple times through the game.

It's going to be tight and Smith isn't going to get scored on easily, but Mac's been great too, and I think we can squeak out a close one. But I hope in the process we don't let off the gas and we keep them hemmed in and frustrated. The Dome has got to be a much harder place to play for these sorts of teams.

GFG! Let's do this.

I say Flames come out strong and carry it through out the game. They fall away from it a bit though late and the Yotes make it closer. 5-3 Flames with an empty netter late. Iggy gets 2, Cammy 1 Bouw 1 and Sven gets his first of the year.

I wonder if we see LaBarbera tonight since Smith played yesterday. I'd say that I'm hoping so but we have a unique ability to make backups look all-world, and LaBarbera is a good backup to begin with.

Yeah, his favourite outlet pass last year was to Bouwmeester every time. He's terrible at moving it forward.

That said, I did think he played pretty well last night.

Disagree about Phoenix

They are slowly becoming the NJD of the west. They get us with their gameplan every. time.

3-2 Flames. Iginla gets two, Baertschi with the other and the Flames come out strong with a 3-0 lead but hold on for a 3-2 win.

I'm just wishing and hoping for an exciting game. Also looking forward to see what the Sven-Roman-Hudler line can do tonight.

Retro jerseys tonight as well, go Flames!

Sven playing with Hudler and Cervenka. I'd love to see the three of them have some success together.

Eric Francis on the pre game show calls to Jay Feaster o bring in some grit o the lineup.

Have to agree with Francis on this one.
