Lee Valley makes my life easier. (www.leevalley.com)

Just look at all the neat crap they have under "Cable & Airflow Control" alone.

I just bought the Roomba Pet series from Costco.ca - just wondering if I should order the Neato and return the Roomba.

I totally notice that the Roomba just drives around randomly and definitely misses places.

THIS!! Everyone I know looks at me like I'm losing my mind when I complain about this. Those bottle are enough to make me avoid ketchup altogether.

Maybe not easier, but definitely better.

For $100 or so you can pick up a thunderhead shower head from the calgary stampede, for something you use everyday (Hopefully) why not have a better shower experience?

Buy the Neato and then make the decision. My guess is it won't be the Neato going back. Make sure you update the firmware to the latest for best performance.

Fully integrated, voice activated, factory bluetooth systems in cars. Especially ones that pass the call seamlessly to the car, as you are getting in.

Should be made mandatory equipment like airbags and seat belts with how many people have cell phones pinned to their faces on the roads.

I have a thunderhead shower head on both of the showers in my house. Awesome to say the least. I love the fact that it is like standing under a waterfall that happens to have warm water rolling over it.

Mayo in a squeeze bottle makes my life easier as well.
Have to stop buying ketchup from Costco, I guess.

I almost wonder if their goal was to simulate the results you get from slapping the bottom of the glass bottles to get ketchup out.

Bump....

Neato is now a "hot buy" at costco.ca

For those who have one (or a Roomba), what's your impression of these robot vacuums?

Does it significantly reduce your "regular vacuuming"/sweeping frequency? Or is it just a cool gadget/toy?

(Neato) Love it. I've been bragging about mine since I got it. Gets close to walls, into corners and is a big help with controlling hair from two dogs. We have it programmed to do three rooms downstairs, three days per week and it has worked flawlessly. Sometimes without the cooperation of our old cat that refuses to get out of its way. It gently bumps her, plans a new route around and carries on about its task. We have only pulled out the regular vacuum downstairs a couple times since we got it. It's not just a cool toy. It actually does a good job and handles the majority of the workload downstairs. We've been thinking of getting another for upstairs.

Ok you vacuum nerds, I finally bought one. I've actually been meaning to buy it since I first read the thread, so this drove it home.

Still using ours! Its our daily driver and does a good job. Once a month we'll do a more thorough clean with the central vac.

Anybody use their neato on shag carpet (the modern stuff, not the 70s stuff that's like 2" long)? If it works on shag I'll buy one right now.

Since we're talking about this Neato thingy, how does it handle the transition from hardwood to an area rug? There is a reasonable difference in height.
