Iginla now always seems SO surprised when someone feeds him a pass for what should be an easy one timer goal this year that he fumbles it every single time, so that the goalie gets across in time. You need to be mentally ready for your chances Jarome, your reaction time has gone in the garbage. You can assist all you like but you know you've got to start putting them in yourself.

Sometimes I get the feeling like this team at times just pretends to try, puts on a show, but doesn't actually give it their all. Like if they skate it up the ice after getting down a goal or two, and put a couple at the goalie's chest it'll be enough to say "well, we got chances" after the period/game/whatever. But before they get down a goal or two they're content to be off in wonderland. Call me crazy, but that's the impression they put on me now and then.

Also, you don't need five guys staring at the puck when it's behind the net, ffs. Look where your man is for a change! The puck isn't gonna go anywhere if all the opposition's guys are covered.
