He's done. If he could still contribute to an NFL team someone would have picked him up.

T.O. might be one of the biggest ######bags in NFL history. I don't really wish negative things on people but I'm certainly not upset that he's broke and unemployed.

Broncos fan. It was geographic mostly. Splitting time between Colorado and Montana the Broncos were always on TV when I was a kid. But it was John Elway that actually pulled me in. From the ages of 7-11 or so I was a Seahawks fan (still a closet fan) largely because of Steve Largent and Sam McCullum who was a WR that went to Flathead high school in Kalispell, MT...my small hometown. Elway brought Mile High Magic with his ridiculous comebacks and I was hooked.
Incidentally, the Broncos drafted a QB from Kalispell this past year so I've got an even great reason to cheer for Denver. Quite frankly, Denver is a great city as well.

I think he could probably still play, but just not at a level that outweighs the negatives that come with signing T.O.

Packers fan from the start. There is just something timeless about their uniforms and the fact that they are a community run team. There is just something special about giong to Lambeau and hearing that crowd. An entire community behind a team 12 months out of the year since their inception. It's what sports should be all about. Plus they play in similar weather to what the Flames play in!
My other team is the Seahawks, but that is more so because we had Spokane NBC growing up, so they were always on. With them being the closest team to where I grew up, it was hard not to hope that they would do well. Now I just can't wait for this upcoming season so that I can go to my first game there. Should be a great time

Agreed, just like Ocho he has the physical ability but why would you want him? A 3rd or 4th WR with a me first attitude isn't going to work.

Also, pick a city you'd want to visit if you ever hit up a game.

i've never followed the nfl and only occasionally do i catch a superbowl game, so i have no real useful input on choosing a team. however, when i do watch a superbowl game this is how i pick who i cheer for.... from a conversation i had a few weeks back:
my buddy - who are you cheering for in the superbowl?
me - 49er's
my buddy - why them?
me - they wear red, just like the flames & stamps

Actually that's a fairly good comparison. Neither of them were very good route-runners, but they got by on their physical skills. T.O. was a monster after the catch and both of them were big, strong guys, who could go up and take a ball away from a defender. I think with Johnson, his physical skills have actually declined to the point where he's no longer effective. T.O. probably still has a lot of his physical skills, but not as many as he once did, and it's just not worth the headache.

First and foremost I am Denver Broncos fan.
I think my fandom of the Broncos comes from 1 - they were a decent team in the mid-late 80s, my dad played football in College (Canada), they became a better team early mid 90s and won a few superbowls.
My favorite player was Steve Atwater mostly because he used to launch himself as a Safety at apposing receivers. John Elway was never really a fav of mine but he was top 5.
My sole love of the team started to turn soon after they hired Mike Shannahan who I dislike. Then Elway turned into some greasy used car salesman and my fandom shifted to my second favorite team...
The Patriots. I followed Brady's first season from the first game and instantly became a fan. I enjoy how they seem to be one of the few teams (sometimes to their detriment) that will cut a player 1 year early rather than keep him 3 years past his prime. The "almost-undefeated" season was probably the most fun I have ever had watching football.
For the O/P if it wasnt for Rapelesburger I would say hands down Pittsburg. But after Mr Raper I would probably suggest Green Bay.

Texans for me. The first NFL game I watched from the stands was Texans against Giants in their inagural season. Been a Texans fan since.

I am a Redskins fan only for the reason that when I used to go over to my Grandparents house when I was young, my uncle who still lived in the basement, had a Redskins helmet and I would also wear it around the house till it wouldn't fit me anymore.

Been a Dallas Cowboy's fan for forever and a day. But if I had to pick a 2nd team it would be the Saints. New Orleans is a fabulous place to visit. So if you ever got the chance that would be awesome. Check out an NFL game and then the city.

It may not be the case, but damn does that sound like some convenient excuses being made for bandwagon hopping.

Me too... Liked their running backs and their game in general from the early 90's until now... They just always seem to be lacking something... plus there are very few of us around.
