it was over at 2-0 with away goals

didn't matter what Arsenal was doing at that point

Wilshere: "We need 3 goals"

You're not getting 3 goals in Germany. Not at the Allianz arena.

No one has put 3 past Bayern all season let alone at the Allianz.

they have allowed 6 goals in 13 games at home in the league this year....

Javi Martinez as a DM and pushing Kroos up to the middle of 3 behind the striker has made them much more sound defensively

I should clarify, I meant that no one has put 3 past Bayern in one game all season.

It was like men against boys....anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

And no subs at halftime? Two thumbs up to that idea.

You forgot Juventus

And I'm curious to see how Milan do tomorrow.

And I like Dortmund, I would put them near the top as well.

I know this isn't CL related but I didn't know where else to post it. Looks like Barcelona is trying to get ahead of all the major European clubs that have expressed interest in signing Neymar. Looks like he will be joining Barcelona after the Confederations Cup.

However, Sport are reporting that a senior director at Camp Nou has confirmed to them that the transfer, which is "a complex operation, profiled for months and is slowly taking shape", will be completed in June after the Confederations Cup finishes in Brazil.

outside of the Celtic game Juve have had huge problems with finishing this year, they lack a top end striker

to me they need a nice draw to get to semi-finals

Dortmund have the talent but are still green in this competition, I would say they are in the same spot as dortmund, nice draw and a semi-final possibly, their year is next year

It has been 9 years since Barca lost to AC Milan. The last 7 meeting have been 4 wins for Barca while the other 3 were tied. Not really giving us trouble. The last time AC Milan beat Barca was during a group stage match of the CL.

Yes but Juve get goals from midfielders as Celtic and Chelsea found out. Plus with Buffon and the entire Italian back three, they're tough to break down.

Didn't Arsenal know it's best not to have a Pole guarding your goal when you're playing the Germans?

In fairness to the Frenchman..

Unfortunately it is looking more and more like the manager cannot get the team to perform at the necessary level and the board is more interested in stock prices than getting the manager to ensure the team is competitive enough. In the last few years, we could have afforded the changes that would make Gooners proud of the effort their team put it as not all of the changes would have cost money...

At least Milan are trying to attack quickly when they have the ball. But can't get the ball off Barca when they do nothing with it
