Default Having a problem with Firefox.

So I booted up my computer today and opened up Firefox. I see this strange search bar where my tabs are.

Spoiler!

I've opened my add-ons, searched through my settings, everything. How do I get rid of this crap without dumping all my other saved info? If I open a new tab it's basically just a full sized version. It's really annoying me and I'm fairly sure the misses is going to blame me somehow.

Any insight?

Also, thank you.

I can't help you at all but a guessing your problem would be solved much quicker in the "tech talk".

Good luck!

Did you just do a recent Firefox update? I did and it asked me if I wanted to apply/add the Bing search bar, but I chose not to. I wonder if that's what that thing is?

My guess is that some other application you installed along the way had a search bar option when you installed it. I find that almost everything for windows, if it's a free program, comes with a search bar in the installation. If you go to the Add/Remove Programs in your control panel you might be able to find it in there and get rid of it.

edit: Just saw you solved your problem, good stuff!
